Day By Day

Day 1: Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport to Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be met by your safari guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Arusha City. Spend the evening at Arusha Planet Lodge, where you can relax and prepare for the upcoming safari. If time allows, explore the city with your guide.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its impressive elephant herds and unique baobab trees. The park’s diverse landscapes include savannahs and seasonal swamps. Enjoy game drives throughout the day with a picnic lunch. Later, travel to Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park

Travel to Central Serengeti National Park, famous for its rich wildlife and the Great Migration. Enjoy game drives and a picnic lunch in the park. Spend the night at Kontiki Serengeti Camp, situated within the park for convenient access to wildlife viewing.

Day 4: Central to Northern Serengeti National Park

Drive to Northern Serengeti, where the Mara River is a key location for witnessing the Great Migration. This area is prime for seeing herds of wildebeests and zebras crossing the river. Stay at Heritage Mara Camp, a comfortable tented camp within the Northern Serengeti.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti National Park

Day 6: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem with a high density of wildlife. The crater is home to black rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of birds. Afterward, transfer to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Karatu to Arusha Airport for Flight to Zanzibar Stone Town

Relax in the morning at the lodge, possibly visiting Karatu town for shopping. In the afternoon, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a driver will meet you at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport and take you to Tembo House Hotel & Apartments in Stone Town.

Day 8: Stone Town Tour and Transfer to Beach Hotel

Explore Stone Town with a local guide, discovering its historical architecture, bustling markets, and cultural landmarks. In the afternoon, transfer to Villa Kiva Hotel on Zanzibar Island, where you can relax by the beach.

Day 9-12: Relax on Zanzibar Island Beach

Day 13: Transfer to Zanzibar Airport
