Day 1

Arrive - Arusha

You will arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet our airport office representative. He/she will assist you should you have visa or passport control issues. After that, we will welcome you to our office for refreshments and to meet your guide. Finally, you will transfer to Arusha for dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

Arusha is a city in Tanzania, East Africa, located at the base of the volcanic Mount Meru. It is a gateway to safari destinations and Africa's highest peak, 5,895m Mount Kilimanjaro lying some 100 kilometres northeast.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, you will depart to Tarangire for a full-day game drive at Tarangire National Park. Your driver will prepare a lunch table where you will enjoy a meal consisting of soup, bread rolls, the main dish, and fruit salad. You can also enjoy a glass of wine, tea, and coffee. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive until the evening. Then, you will have dinner and your overnight stay at the camp.

Tarangire National Park is slightly off the main safari route and is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania. The park is most famous for its elephant migration, birding, and quiet, authentic safari atmosphere. The majority of travellers to the region either miss the park completely or venture into the park only for a few hours, leaving parts of Tarangire virtually unexplored.

Day 3

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, you will depart to Tarangire for a full-day game drive in the Tarangire National Park.

During the game drives, you will see herds of up to 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams. It is the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, a smorgasbord for predators, and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are observed.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at the camp, you will depart and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive in the crater.

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the world's largest unflooded and unbroken caldera. The Ngorongoro Crater is about 20 kilometres across, 600 meters deep, and covers an area of 300 square kilometres, a breathtaking natural wonder. Next, you will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. Finally, you will see a large number of flamingos, hippos, and water birds.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti's central area, Seronera, to view the great migration. In the afternoon, your driver will make a great place where he will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal, lunch, soup, bread rolls, main dish and fruit salad followed by a glass of wine/tea and coffee. At this point, you will meet other guests from other companies. After lunch, have an afternoon game viewing drive watching the a great migration. In the evening, check in to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park is well known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five (the name is derived from the five most prized trophies taken by hunters). Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa due, in part, to the abundance of prey species. More than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem.

Day 6

In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal lunch, soup, bread rolls, main dish and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine/tea and coffee. Magnificent Wildlife

The only living things which look as if they really belonged to it are the wild animals. Between the animals and Africa, there is an understanding that human beings have not yet earned.

Laurens van der Post, Venture to the Interior, 1963…

Today the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and the Masai Mara National Reserve across the border in Kenya protect the greatest and most varied collection of terrestrial wildlife on earth. It is one of the last great migratory systems still intact.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early morning hot air balloon safari. After landing, you will have a celebration champagne and a good breakfast followed by a game drive in Central Serengeti searching for the big cats /Big Five. In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table with a full hot meal lunch, soup, bread rolls, main dish, and fruit salad. This will be followed by a glass of wine, tea and coffee. Continue with the game drive until evening when your driver will set a sundowner picnic table with drinks and snacks before you drive back to the camp for the dinner and your overnight stay.

A million wildebeest each one driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfilling its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life. They go on a frenzied three-week bout of territorial conquests and mating; survival of the fittest as 40km (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on the annual exodus north.

Day 8

Serengeti National Park - Zanzibar

After breakfast at the camp, you will have a final morning game drive in the park and transfer to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar for a meet and greet by our representative then transfer to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Zanzibar, often referred to as the "Spice Island," played a significant role in the historic spice trade. It was once one of the world's leading producers of cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper.

Day 9

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

Have breakfast at the hotel in Stone Town. After breakfast, you will have a town tour and in the afternoon, transfer to Nungwi for your overnight stay at the hotel.

It may not have a particularly romantic name, but Stone Town is the old city and cultural heart of Zanzibar, and little changed in the last 200 years. It is a place of winding alleys, bustling bazaars, mosques and grand Arab houses whose original owners vied with each other over the extravagance of their dwellings. This one-upmanship is particularly reflected in the brass-studded, carved, wooden doors—there are more than 500 different examples of this handiwork. Stone Town was recently and deservedly declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Day 10

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

Have a leisurely breakfast from the hotel and spend a full day relaxing at the beach of North Nungwi. All other sea sports can be organized from the hotel at an extra cost. You'll have dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

We have developed a special Spice Tour with in-depth information not only about spices but also about organically grown herbs and a detailed description of their traditional uses in medicine, cosmetics and cooking. After the tour, we'll invite you for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home where you can taste the spices and fruits.

After lunch, we'll take you to your hotel.

Day 11

Zanzibar Beach Holiday

Have a healthy breakfast from the hotel and spend a full day relaxing at the beach of North Nungwi. All other sea sports can be organized from the hotel at an extra cost. You'll have dinner and your overnight stay at the hotel.

Zanzibar is the majestic spice island of the Indian Ocean. These are the two main islands of Unguja and Pemba. Over centuries, different cultures have influenced Zanzibar to become what it is today. Sumerians, Assyrians, Egyptians, Phoenicians, Indians, Chinese, Persians, Portuguese, Omani Arabs, Dutch and British settled here at one time or another and influenced the local culture into the present fusion.

Day 12

Zanzibar - Departure

Have breakfast at the hotel and relax at the beach. You'll be picked up for an afternoon transfer from Stone Town to the airport for your flight to catch your international flight back home.
