Day 1
Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
On the first day, you catch a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. We recommend taking the 8:00am flight, and by 9:00am, you arrive in Arusha. You will meet the Key2Africa Tours and Safari guide there, who will be waiting to pick you up at the airport. From Arusha, you drive to Tarangire National Park, marking the beginning of your exciting adventure.
A day in Tarangire National Park offers an enthralling journey into the heart of Tanzania's wildlife haven. The park is filled with diverse and majestic creatures, with a special focus on impressive herds of elephants, regal lions, graceful giraffes, and various species of antelope. As you explore the landscape, look for the vibrant array of birdlife that calls Tarangire home, including the striking lilac-breasted rollers and charming lovebirds. The expansive grasslands, ancient baobab trees, and the meandering Tarangire River create a stunning backdrop, providing picture-perfect settings for your wildlife encounters.

Mto wa Mbu to Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you explore the renowned Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania with a full day dedicated to a game drive. You have the opportunity to enjoy lunch near a hippo pool before continuing the game drive later in the afternoon and then driving back to Arusha.
The Ngorongoro Crater is like a large bowl created by a volcano. It is special because it is home to a wide variety of animals, including lions, elephants, buffalos, and more. Lake Magadi is part of the crater, and you can see flamingos and other birds here at the lake. In addition to the diverse wildlife, the Masai people also inhabit the area, making it a unique blend of wildlife and culture. Standing on the edge of the crater offers breathtaking views of the landscape. The Ngorongoro Crater is part of a conservation area and provides an incredible safari experience where you can witness the beauty of the natural surroundings and encounter a wide range of animals.
Day 3
Arusha to Materuni Waterfalls
Today, you immerse yourself in the rich culture and beautiful landscapes at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. After a delicious breakfast, you depart for Materuni village, just 2 hours from Arusha. The village's beauty and lush surroundings will surely captivate you. Get ready for a hike to the stunning Materuni waterfalls, where you can take a refreshing swim and capture amazing pictures. Once you return, the adventure continues with a delightful coffee tour. Here, you learn about making coffee, from picking the beans to enjoying a cup of your own creation. After this immersive experience, enjoy a delicious Chagga meal. As the day winds down, you take a leisurely drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight to Zanzibar, wrapping up a fun-filled and captivating day.
